In this paper, the application of wavelet denoising to the estimated Power Delay Profile (PDP) from measured UWB indoor channel responses was investigated. Realistic system and link level simulations require specific information about the radio channel. A key role is played by the power delay profile which is widely agreed to be a negative exponential characterized by the delay spread. Branched-bus HF power-delay-profile approach of indoor PLC channels

In this paper, the branched-bus topology is evaluated as representative of indoor PLC channels' multipath fading properties. The path amplitude and arrival-time distributions are investigated, as well as ranging of the RMS-delay-spread.
