Robust Optimal Power Flow with Wind Integration Using Conditional Value-at-Risk
Integrating renewable energy into the power grid requires intelligent risk-aware dispatch accounting for the stochastic availability of renewables. Toward achieving this goal, a robust DC optimal flow problem is developed in the present paper for power ...

Concept study of microgrid dispatch strategy for solar thermal power plant with thermal storage [PDF]
Complex grid systems have been gradually replaced by smaller and simpler grid systems called Microgrids. Integration of a solar thermal power generation systems into Microgrids open a new horizon of renewable energy power generation to achieve the supply

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Outlier detection method based on K-means
In industry, electric power, transportation and other fields, anomalies are often the precursors of problems or failures in the system. Through anomaly identification techniques, system abnormal behavior can be detected in time to prevent or quickly ...

Multiple Timescale Dispatch and Scheduling for Stochastic Reliability in Smart Grids with Wind Generation Integration [PDF]
Integrating volatile renewable energy resources into the bulk power grid is challenging, due to the reliability requirement that at each instant the load and generation in the system remain balanced. In this study, we tackle this challenge for smart grid

Multiobjective optimal thermal power dispatch
Abstract A multiobjective thermal power dispatch problem is formulated using noncommensurable objectives such as operating costs and minimal emission. A sensitivity measure is chosen whereby the effects of variations in the nominal conditions describing a given multiobjective problem can be measured and incorporated as a performance index to be ...

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.
