Unbalanced multi-phase distribution grid topology estimation and bus phase identification
There is an increasing need for monitoring and controlling uncertainties brought by distributed energy resources in distribution grids. For such goal, accurate multi-phase topology is the basis for correlating measurements in unbalanced distribution ...

Load flow solution for meshed distribution networks [PDF]
Power flow is a useful tool in operation, planning and optimisation of a system. Distribution systems, generally, refers to the power system network connected to loads at lower operating voltage.

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Power System Grid Planning with Distributed Generation
Distributed Generation (DG) is one of the technologies approved by the South African government for the country's generation expansion to meet future load demand and to support economic growth. DGs change the conventional power flow (generation, transmission to distribution) by injecting real and reactive power at distribution voltage levels.

What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...

Herein, environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) is discussed as a powerful extension of conventional SEM for life sciences. By combining high‐resolution imaging with variable pressure and humidity, ESEM allows the analysis of untreated biological materials, supports in situ monitoring of hydration‐driven changes, and advances the functional ...
