A reconfigurable in-phase/out-of-phase and power-dividing ratio power divider
2017 IEEE Asia Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2017This paper presents a varactor-based power divider with reconfigurable power-dividing ratio and reconfigurable in-phase or out-of-phase phase relation between outputs. By properly controlling the tuning varactors, the power divider can be either in phase or out of phase and each with a wide range of tunable power-dividing ratio. The proposed microstrip

DIVIDED POWER AND ΕΥΝΟΜΙΑ: DELIBERATIVE PROCEDURES IN ANCIENT SPARTA
The Classical Quarterly, 2017Spartan institutions were pictured as a model of political stability from the Classical period onwards. The so-called Spartan ‘mirage’ did not involve only its constitutional order but also social and economic institutions. Xenophon begins hisConstitution of the Lacedaemoniansby associating Spartan fame with thepoliteiaset up by Lycurgus, which made ...

Proceedings International Conference on Computer Design. VLSI in Computers and Processors (Cat. No.98CB36273), 2002
This work describes the design of a double-precision radix-8 divider. Low-power techniques are applied in the design of the unit, and energy-delay tradeoffs considered. The energy dissipation in the divider can be reduced by up to 70% with respect to a standard implementation not optimized for energy, without penalizing the latency. The radix-8 divider

‘Power and the digital divide’
Ethics and Information Technology, 2002The ethical and political dilemmas raised by Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have only just begun to be understood. The impact of centralised data collection, mass communication technologies or the centrality of computer technology as a means of accessing important social institutions, all pose important ethical and political questions ...

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1972
<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper discusses the history, theory, operation, and refinements of one of the oldest limited-slip vehicle axle and tandem interaxle differentials that has remained in continuous production. The design uses a cam and wedge principle, but is a true differential in the manner of a conventional geared unit.

Lumped‐element filtering power dividers
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2018SummaryA power divider is ideally a lossless reciprocal device performing vector summation of two or more input signals, which is an extremely important circuit component in wireless communication systems or radar systems. In this paper, a general concept of lumped‐element power divider is discussed.
