A Planar Balanced Power Divider With Tunable Power-Dividing Ratio

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2017
This paper reports on, for the first time, the design and implementation of planar balanced tunable power dividers. The wide power-dividing tuning range is obtained by using two tuning capacitors and a single control voltage. The differential-mode operation, common-mode rejection, and cross-mode conversion suppression are realized for all tuning states.

Compact unequal Wilkinson power divider with large power dividing ratio

2014 9th European Microwave Integrated Circuit Conference, 2014
A compact unequal Wilkinson power divider with arbitrary power division is analyzed and demonstrated in this paper. The power divider can be designed with arbitrary power division in theory and achieves large power dividing ratio in practice. The proposed structure is compatible with single layer integration by using the normal PCB fabrication process.

Power System Loss Divider

IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2020
This letter presents an analytical closed-form expression that quantifies the contributions of nodal active- and reactive-power injections to total loss in a power system operating at sinusoidal steady state. We term this as the loss divider , since it is derived by leveraging the ubiquitous current divider law.

A Power Divider with Adjustable Dividing Ratio

IEICE Transactions on Electronics, 2008
An unequal Wilkinson power divider with adjustable power dividing ratio is proposed. The proposed power divider consists of rectangular defected ground structure (DGS), isolated island in DGS, and varactor diodes. The impedance of the microstrip line greatly increases due to the DGS, and varies because of the varying capacitance of diodes. The measured

A New Dual Band Power Divider with Extreme Power Dividing Ratio

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2011
This paper presents the design of a new dual band power divider realized on double-sided parallel-strip line (DSPSL). The proposed structure mainly features a simple planar structure with extreme power dividing ratio, wide bandwidth, excellent isolation and frequency-independent output phase performance for dual band application.

A power divider with tunable power

2017 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP), 2017
In this paper, a power divider is proposed. The presented divider consists four varactors and two microstrip lines. The divider has four ports, port 1, port 2, port 3 and port 4. Port 1 is the input port, and port 3, 4 are output ports. Besides, port 2 is the isolated port. When the capacitance of the four varactors is 0, the power is outputted in port

Compact Wide-band Gysel Power Divider

2022 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting (AP-S/URSI), 2022
A compact and wideband Gysel power divider is proposed in this study. The design steps on a widely available low-cost FR-4 substrate are presented. The design is simulated with a Method-of-Moments based 2.5D EM simulator and verified with measurement results.

Mack Power Divider

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1972
<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper discusses the history, theory, operation, and refinements of one of the oldest limited-slip vehicle axle and tandem interaxle differentials that has remained in continuous production. The design uses a cam and wedge principle, but is a true differential in the manner of a conventional geared unit.

Recombinant Waveguide Power Divider

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2013
In this paper, a substrate integrated waveguide power divider is proposed on the basis of a recombinant topology that provides in-phase power division with an odd or even number of branches. The aim is to generate different types of power distribution to control sidelobe level in the antenna array.

Split-Tee Power Divider

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1965
A new type of power divider is described which provides two in-phase isolated outputs with a constant arbitrary power division over a wide bandwidth. The derivation of the formulas from which the unit may be deisgned and its performance predicted are given.
