Emission calibration of a J-58 afterburning turbojet engine at simulated supersonic stratospheric flight conditions [PDF]
Emissions of total oxides of nitrogen, unburned hydrocarbons, and carbon monoxide from a J-58 engine at simulated flight conditions of Mach 2.0, 2.4, and 2.8 at 19.8 km altitude are reported.

Studi Eksperimental Termoelektrik Generator (TEG) Dengan Variasi Fin Dan Non Fin Pada Fluida Panas Supra X 125 cc [PDF]
The increasing population of motorcycle causes the amount of fuel that is burned. Based on the flowing energy of internal combustion engine, 100% fuel and air combustion produce 25% for driving operation, while 40% exit as exhaust gas, 25% as cooling and

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Effect of vacuum exhaust pressure on the performance of MHD ducts at high B-field [PDF]
The effect of area ratio variation on the performance of a supersonic Hall MHD duct is investigated. Results indicate that for a given combustion pressure there exists an area ratio below which the power generating region of the duct is shock free and ...

Measurements and predictions of flyover and static noise of a TF30 afterburning turbofan engine [PDF]
The noise of the TF30 afterburning turbofan engine in an F-111 airplane was determined from static (ground) and flyover tests. A survey was made to measure the exhaust temperature and velocity profiles for a range of power settings. Comparisons were made

An efficient NiOx HTL is successfully prepared by introducing MXene as an additive without further surface modification to fabricate high‐performance FASn0.5Pb0.5I3 perovskite solar cells. The introduction of MXene contributes to improved conductivity of NiOx, better aligned at NiOx/perovskite interfaces, and enhanced quality of perovskite films ...

Numerical study of an exhaust heat recovery system using corrugated tubes and twisted tape inserts [PDF]
Thesis (M.S.) University of Alaska Fairbanks, 2014Diesel engine generators are the major power source for small communities in cold regions. Diesel generators waste about 1/3 of their fuel energy in the form of heat through exhaust gas.

In‐situ doping during growth of SnSe and subsequent attachment of SnS produces high‐quality lateral pn‐heterojunctions between van der Waals semiconductors. Electron beam induced current measurements demonstrate electrically active pn‐junctions, paving the way for devices that harness charge separation at lateral interfaces in layered heterostructures.
