A Generalized Theory of Power

open access: yesCoRR, 2021
The complex representation of real-valued instantaneous power may be written as the sum of two complex powers, one Hermitian and the other non-Hermitian, or complementary. A virtue of this representation is that it consists of a power triangle rotating around a fixed phasor, thus clarifying what should be meant by the power triangle.

Preparation of coal fly ash supported high-temperature SCR catalyst by a novel alkali-acid combined activation

open access: yesCatalysis Communications, 2023
Coal fly ash (CFA) is an alternative carrier of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst, but its reactivity is usually poor. Herein, the alkali-acid combined activation was proposed to prepare the CFA-supported high-temperature SCR catalyst.

Research on Coordination Planning Model of Source-Grid-Load-Storage Considering Demand Response Uncertainty [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2023
With the integration of wind power, photovoltaic, and other new energy into the grid, the growth of carbon emissions has been effectively suppressed, which greatly contributes to the realization of the “Carbon peak, Carbon neutral’’.

Smart Grid Control Attack Defense Based on Semantic Analysis in Industrial Control Operation and Maintenance

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2020
To reduce the threat of control-related attacks on the smart grid, a semantic analysis framework is proposed in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, in which the smart grid information and physical industrial control equipment are ...

Study on the Catalytic Decomposition Reaction of N2O on MgO (100) in SO2 and CO Environments

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
To study the role of MgO in the reduction of N2O in circulating fluidized bed boilers, density functional theory was used to evaluate heterogeneous decomposition. The interference of SO2 and CO on N2O was considered.

The power of general relativity [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2005
We study the cosmological and weak-field properties of theories of gravity derived by extending general relativity by means of a Lagrangian proportional to $R^{1+δ}$. This scale-free extension reduces to general relativity when $δ\to 0$. In order to constrain generalisations of general relativity of this power class we analyse the behaviour of the ...

Density Functional Theory Study on Mechanism of Mercury Removal by CeO2 Modified Activated Carbon

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Doping of CeO2 on activated carbon (AC) can promote its performance for mercury abatement in flue gas, while the Hg0 removal mechanism on the AC surface has been rarely reported.
