Power dispatch and load control with generation uncertainty
2015 IEEE Global Conference on Signal and Information Processing (GlobalSIP), 2015In this paper, we focus on the problem of joint load scheduling and generation management to better match supply and demand. We formulate an optimization problem to jointly minimize the generation cost and discomfort cost of the users subject to the voltage and power balance equations for the equivalent circuit of the power system.

PSS CONTROLLER FOR WIND POWER GENERATION SYSTEMS
International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2012Small signal stability analysis for power systems with wind farm interaction is presented. Power systems oscillation modes can be excited by disturbance or fault in the grid. Variable speed wind turbines can be regulated to reduce these oscillations, stabilising the power system.
