Generalization and sharpness of the power means inequality and their applications
The main results of the paper sharpen the classical well-known inequalities between power means. As a consequence, the inequality \[ \left(\sum_{i=1}^n x_i\right)^n \leq (n-1)^{n-1} \sum_{i=1}^n x_i^n + n\big(n^{n-1}-(n-1)^{n-1}\big)\prod_{i=1}^n x_i \] is proved for all \(x_1,\dots,x_n>0\), \(n\geq2\), which was conjectured by \textit{W. Abstract The transition from subsistence to market‐oriented agriculture holds the potential to boost rural economic progress and improve the well‐being of the rural poor in developing countries. Despite this potential, there is limited understanding of the key drivers for smallholder commercialization. In this study, we utilize comprehensive three‐wave

When More Poor Means Less Poverty: On Income Inequality and Purchasing Power [PDF]
We show theoretically that the poor can benefit from price changes induced by higher income inequality. As the number of poor increases, the market for products aimed toward the poor grows, and such products become more profitable. As a result, there are circumstances where an increase in income inequality associates with higher purchasing power of the

Comparing exergy and heat pump work in distillation systems
Abstract This study compares the exergy supplied to a distillation column with the actual energy consumption of a heat pump‐assisted distillation (HPAD) system. It evaluates the reliability of exergy as a proxy for heat pump work demand in such systems.

The Passive Origin of the Institutionalization of Power Inequality in the Meaning/Experience of Womanhood in Igboland [PDF]
This study, which analyzes the meaning and experience of womanhood in Igbo land, reveals a power inequality, captured by the depiction of women as the property of men. Though most of the intuitions found in post-structuralism might be confirmed in our analysis (e.g., that discourse produces the subjects and that language operates alongside power and ...

Robust design of flexible supply chains with mobile and modular facilities
Abstract Modular manufacturing is increasingly being adopted by the chemical industry in applications where resource availability and product demand are highly distributed and uncertain. Modular plants are often built such that they can be easily relocated.

Fractional Ostrowski type inequalities for functions whose derivatives are s-preinvex
In this paper, we establish a new integral identity, and then we derive some new fractional Ostrowski type inequalities for functions whose derivatives are s-preinvex.

In Situ Graph Reasoning and Knowledge Expansion Using Graph‐PRefLexOR
Graph‐PRefLexOR is a novel framework that enhances language models with in situ graph reasoning, symbolic abstraction, and recursive refinement. By integrating graph‐based representations into generative tasks, the approach enables interpretable, multistep reasoning.
