Research on Three-Dimensional Simulation of the Internal Arc Gear Skiving [PDF]

open access: yes
Aiming at the problems that the simulation accuracy which is reduced due to the simplification of the model, a three-dimensional simulation method based on solid modeling is being proposed. By analyzing the motion relationship and positional relationship

Features of using the power skiving method for multi-pass cutting of internal gears

open access: yesArchive of Mechanical Engineering
The paper presents the results of a simulation on a 3D model of undeformed chips and cutting forces during three-pass gear cutting using the power skiving method. At the level of individual blades and teeth in successive angular cutting positions, the main component of the cutting force and the tangential force on the cutter axis are shown.

Study on the influence of axial feed rate on the accuracy of internal gears in power skiving

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series
Abstract In order to improve the machining accuracy of internal gear, the machining accuracy of internal gear was studied using the power skiving technology. In this paper, the geometric model of the power skiving process without considering the manufacturing and installation errors of the cutter is constructed.

Analysis of tool design and kinematics when machining a gear by power skiving

open access: yesJournal of Mechanical Engineering and Transport
Gears are one of the most common machine parts used for transmitting motion and torque. At the same time, they are among the medium-complexity parts. The reliability and cost of the finished product depend on the manufacturing performance and the quality of the resulting part.

Deterrence through Word of Mouth [PDF]

open access: yes
The deterrent effect of law enforcement rests on the link between the actual and the perceived detection risk. We study the role of word of mouth for this linkage.
