The ac power system testbed [PDF]

open access: yes
The object of this program was to design, build, test, and deliver a high frequency (20 kHz) Power System Testbed which would electrically approximate a single, separable power channel of an IOC Space Station.

Decellularized Extracellular Matrix Scaffolds to Engineer the Dormant Landscape of Microscopic Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Decellularized liver extracellular matrix scaffolds provide a platform to study dormant liver‐metastatic colorectal cancer. They induce reversible dormancy, in combination with nutrient depletion and low dose chemotherapy, through cell cycle arrest and chemotherapy resistance.

A 20 kiloHertz space station power system [PDF]

open access: yes
The space station represents the next major U.S. commitment in space. The efficient delivery of power to multiple user loads is key to that success. In 1969, NASA Lewis Research Center began a series of studies with component and circuit developments ...

Myeloperoxidase Luminol Reaction – A Novel Faecal Assay for Predicting Colonoscopy Findings in Patients with Ulcerative Colitis: A Pilot Cross‐Sectional Clinical Study

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Can luminol detect faecal inflammation? This study explores the development and optimisation of a rapid novel assay ‐ Myeloperoxidase Luminol Reaction (MPOLR) for the detection of faecal myeloperoxidase activity. This simple and rapid luminol‐based approach competes with clinically validated faecal biomarkers in predicting endoscopic findings in ...

Bilirubin Sensing Using Organic Electrochemical Transistors: Role of Gate Materials and Operational Parameters

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores PEDOT:PSS‐based OECTs as sensitive bilirubin sensors, revealing that polarizable gate electrodes (Au, Pt, glassy carbon) enable detection while non‐polarizable Ag/AgCl gates suppress response. Operational parameters modulate current direction, suggesting complex interfacial dynamics.

Preparation and Performance of Nickel-Doped LaSrCoO3-SrCO3 Composite Materials for Alkaline Oxygen Evolution in Water Splitting

open access: yesNanomaterials
Perovskites exhibit catalytic properties on the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in water electrolysis. Elemental doping by specific preparation methods is a good strategy to obtain highly catalytical active perovskite catalysts.
