Complete joint-optimization for offshore wind farm planning

open access: yes
Offshore wind power is continuously developing for renewable energy generation. Generally, the overall planning work of offshore wind farms (OWFs) is divided into wind farm layout optimization (WFLO) and wind farm collector system optimization (WFCSO ...

Optimal Planning for Electrical Collector System of Offshore Wind Farm with Double-sided Ring Topology

open access: yes, 2023
We propose a planning method for offshore wind farm electrical collector system (OWF-ECS) with double-sided ring topology meeting the "N-1" criterion on cable faults, in which the submarine cables layout of OWF is optimized considering cable length and ...

Magnetotransport Signatures of Spin–Orbit Coupling in High‐Temperature Cuprate Superconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Large angle‐dependent magnetoresistance and planar Hall effects emerge at the superconducting transition of YBa2Cu3O7−x$\mathrm{YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-x}}$ thin films. These anomalous transport signatures, absent in the normal state, point to spin‐polarized quasiparticle dynamics enabled by an unexpected spin–orbit coupling landscape in cuprate superconductors,

Thermoelectric PANI/TeNWs Fiber Based Microsensor for Passive Temperature and Active Chemical Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Continuous wet‐spinning of PANI with TeNWs yields a multifunctional microfiber. Oriented TeNWs impose chain alignment and enhance π‐electron delocalization, boosting the Seebeck coefficient to 59.9 µV K−1 for passive temperature sensing (1 K detection limit), while achieving high pH sensitivity (59.25 mV pH−1) and rapid NH3 response (0.96 s).

Intrinsic Dual‐Phase Regulated GeSe2 Nanoparticles Triggered by Ball‐Milling Treatment for Photonic Multi‐Valued Logic Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report the solid‐state ball milling, a traditional, reliable, mass‐productive material processing, to prepare the air‐stable and dual‐phase GeSe2‐x nanoparticles with extended photodetection feasibility toward optical‐wavelength regions. We further display photonic multi‐valued logic (MVL) circuit through the employment of a hybrid PMMA/GeSe2‐x ...

High‐Density E. Coli Cultivation Arrays for Combinatorial Drug Testing With Subsequent Lipid Profiling by MALDI‐MS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐throughput antibiotic cross‐gradient assays on microdroplet arrays. A multichannel printhead together with five pressure regulators forms droplet arrays of up to 20 832 droplets within 25 minutes. Each droplet contains unique concentrations of antibiotics, allowing to moniture a vast spectrum of bacterial repsonses over night. The bacterial growth
