Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Power system stabilizer control for wind power to enhance power system stability

open access: yes, 2011
The paper presents a small signal stability analysis for power systems with wind farm interaction. Power systems have damping oscillation modes that can be excited by disturbance or fault in the grid. The power converters of the wind farms can be used to reduce these oscillations and make the system more stable.

Characterization of Nitinol Produced by Laser Powder Bed Fusion for Mechanical Metamaterial Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

DESAIN KONTROLER PID UNTUK MENSTABILKAN TEGANGAN PADA BEBAN BERLEBIH PADA SISTEM TENAGA MULTIMESIN [PDF]

open access: yes
The multi engine power supply system will be stable if there are no interruptions causing increased power consumption, so that the system can be optimized. A survey is carried out to solve this problem.

Data Acquisition and Control System of Hydroelectric Power Plant Using Internet Techniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Vzhledem k mnoha

EBSD Study of Creep‐Induced Lattice Misorientation in MgO‐Particle‐Reinforced Austenitic Steel Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

Damping Inter -Area Electromechanical Oscillation In Two- Area Electrical Power System Using Power System Stabilizer.

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development, 2014
In this paper a Delta- Omega Power system stabilizer (PSS) is used to damp the inter – area electromechanical oscillation, the simulated system consists of two fully symmetrical areas linked together by two 230 KV tie lines of 300 Km length. Each area

Design of Power System Stabilizer based on Sliding Mode Control Theory for Multi- Machine Power System [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Procedures in Electrical Technology, 2010
This paper presents a new method for designing of power system stabilizer (PSS) based on sliding mode control (SMC) technique. The control objective is to enhance stability and improve the dynamic response of the multi-machine power system.

A linearized stabilizer formalism for systems of finite dimension

open access: yes, 2012
The stabilizer formalism is a scheme, generalizing well-known techniques developed by Gottesman [quant-ph/9705052] in the case of qubits, to efficiently simulate a class of transformations ("stabilizer circuits", which include the quantum Fourier ...
