The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Let $Δ(x)$ be the error term of the Dirichlet divisor problem. The asymptotic formula of the integral $\int_1^TΔ^k(x)dx$ is established for any integer $3\leq k\leq 9$ by an unified method. Similar results are also established for some other well-known error terms in the analytic number theory.
