Power Transmission Line Fault Detection and Classification

open access: yesKaradeniz Fen Bilimleri Dergisi
It is very important to find short circuit faults of power transmission lines (PTL) quickly and efficiently. Most methods in the literature use classification algorithms for fault detection, but their use in real-time applications increases fault detection time.

Fault Detection, Classification and Localization in Power Transmission Lines Using ANN

open access: yesZbornik radova
Abstract Power transmission line is key equipment in secure and reliable power flow in each power system. To arise reliability and security of overhead power lines, different types of failures should be simulated to minimize their impact and to detect and resolve them as quickly as possible. The objective of this paper is to provide an accurate

Continuous Stiffness Graded Metal–Ceramic Femoral Stems: UMAT‐Based Design and Finite Element Assessment

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Functionally graded metal–ceramic femoral stems are engineered through continuous UMAT‐based stiffness tailoring, eliminating discrete material interfaces while enhancing biomechanical compatibility. Low‐index power‐law gradation optimizes load transfer, reduces stress shielding, and controls implant–bone micromotion, highlighting a materials‐design ...
