Transparent Electrodes Composed of Organized Titania Nanotubes and Transition Metal Sulfides for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 2, 20 January 2026.
Transparent titanium dioxide nanotube electrodes are decorated with minimal amounts of transition metal sulfides, preserving high optical transparency while enabling efficient oxygen evolution. Cobalt sulfide‐modified electrodes demonstrate highly enhanced and stable performance, establishing a promising, scalable platform for transparent tandem cells ...

Beachrock formation influenced by co‐seismic deformation and relative sea‐level changes during the Holocene near the Gulf of Saros, Türkiye (NE Aegean Sea)

open access: yesBoreas, Volume 55, Issue 1, Page 231-257, January 2026.
This is the first proof of beachrock found on the nearshore of the Gulf of Saros. Beachrock generation was influenced by tectonic activity, geomorphological processes, and sedimentation. The Late Holocene beachrock deposits were altered by co‐seismic deformation.

Structure of the Multiphase Chalcolithic Tell Chiselet–Grădiștea Fundeanca (Romania) From SH‐Wave Full‐Waveform Inversion, Borehole Geophysics and Coring

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, Volume 32, Issue 4, Page 899-926, October/December 2025.
ABSTRACT The emergence and development of settlement mounds, also called tells, is of major interest for the analysis of socio‐economic transformations occurring in the lower Danube plain during the East European Chalcolithic period. In this context, the multiphase chronology and structural layout of tells are highly relevant indicators, but small ...

Polyoxometalate Imide‐Linked Molecules, Covalent Organic Polymers, and Frameworks: Dimensionality Effects on Supercapacitors Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, Volume 9, Issue 9, September 2025.
This study explores polyoxometalate‐based hybrids with varying dimensionalities, linking molecular, polymeric, and framework structures to supercapacitor performance. The results highlight how structural tuning enhances surface area, porosity, and charge transport, offering insights into designing efficient energy storage materials.

Blooming Urban Table: Flower Resources for Butterflies in Small Wastelands of a Large European City

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 9, September 2025.
There are almost no studies of butterfly flower preferences in urban habitats, and overall knowledge about their floral affinities in Europe is very scarce. Our study was based on long‐term (2017–2022) qualitative observations and quantitative studies of flower visits performed in 2021 and 2022 on several urban wastelands.
