Design Internal Forces of Non‐Dissipative Members in CBFs With Regular and Irregular Brace Configurations

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Steel Concentrically Braced Frames (CBFs) are widely used in seismic regions, with chevron and split‐X configurations commonly adopted for their structural efficiency and architectural flexibility. Although extensive research has been carried out on these systems, the effectiveness of the formulations available in the literature for estimating

Surrogate‐Based Time‐Continuous Seismic Fragility Assessment of Corrosion‐Deteriorated Reinforced Concrete Bridges Under Climate Change

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Seismic fragility assessment of reinforced concrete (RC) bridges exposed to corrosive environments must reliably capture time‐dependent deterioration impacts. Climate change compounds this challenge through nonstationary temperature and humidity variations that accelerate bridge corrosion.

Decarbonizing India's Industrial Sector: Analysis of the Combined Impacts of the Perform, Achieve, Trade Scheme and the National Green Hydrogen Mission

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that integrating India's Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) scheme with the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) can significantly accelerate industrial decarbonization. Energy efficiency drives near‐term emissions reductions, while green hydrogen becomes the dominant abatement pathway after 2035.

Learning From and Through Evaluation: An Examination of Practice

open access: yesNew Directions for Evaluation, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this article, we provide an analysis across the foregoing practice‐based case exemplars to understand antecedent conditions and influences, learning‐oriented evaluation strategies, estimates of strategy success or potential success, and factors that either enable or hinder the extent to which learning from and through evaluation occurs. The
