Ultra‐Flexible Dual‐Band Organic Photodetectors for Visible and Near‐Infrared Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
An ultra‐flexible dual‐band organic photodetector with a total thickness of 5.6 µm for bio‐sensing is developed. It selectively detects visible and near‐infrared light with high sensitivity by switching the voltage. Peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) measurement is demonstrated using the device attached to a finger under a single light source by ...

A Shear Thickening Colloidal Suspension Functioning via Progressive Impact Jamming with Persistent Lubrication Layer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An ionic liquid‐based shear‐thickening fluid (ILSTF) exhibits lubricated dynamics from strong shear thickening to impact‐triggered jamming. A persistent nanometric solvation layer around silica governs both the shear thickening saturation in rheology and jamming front propagation under dynamic impact compression.

Efeito da Presença de Vizinhos sobre o Comportamento Territorial de Perithemis mooma (Kirby) (Anisoptera: Libellulidae)

open access: yesEntomoBrasilis, 2013
Algumas espécies territorialistas apresentam respostas menos agressivas em relação à entrada de vizinhos do que a não vizinhos em seu território. Essa diferenciação nas respostas é conhecida como “Dear Enemy Effect”.
