This study examined the gel behavior of naturally-occurring palmyra palm kernel (PPK). Due to the presence of polysaccharide in PPK hydrogels, they exhibit excellent swelling behavior in response to pH.

Anakinra, an interleukin‐1 receptor antagonist, shows promise for reducing inflammatory complications of premature birth. However, the pharmacokinetics (PK) of anakinra in neonates has not been characterized, limiting evidence‐based dosing.
