Real‐time precise orbit determination for FY‐3C and FY‐3D based on BDS and GPS onboard observation
(1) The real‐time precise orbit determination (POD) for low earth orbit (LEO) satellites based on spaceborne global positioning system (GPS) and BDS‐2 observations are executed. (2) Code multipath piece‐wise linear (PWL) error model of BDS‐2 satellites is constructed and applied to real‐time LEO POD.

Signal‐in‐Space and Positioning Performance of BDS Open Augmentation Service
As a typical augmentation satellite system for centimeter‐level positioning, PPP (Precise Point Positioning) service based on PPP‐B2b signal of China’s new generation BeiDou system (BDS‐3) was released for Asia‐Pacific area on July, 2020. This paper first introduces the recovery theory of PPP‐B2b SSR (State Space Representation) messages and then ...

In 2020, users in and around China had access to a new real‐time precise point positioning (RTPPP) service with the BeiDou global navigation satellite system (BDS‐3) B2b (PPP‐B2b) signal. In this study, the quality of PPP‐B2b products is first assessed and compared with the CNAV1 broadcast ephemeris. Then a mode of BDS‐3 PPP time transfer with PPP‐B2b (

PPP/PPP‐RTK open formats: Overview, comparison, and proposal for an interoperable message
Abstract This paper presents and reviews the main existing open specifications for PPP/PPP‐RTK services, including satellite navigation providers (QZSS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS) and other industrial or scientific initiatives (RTCM, SAPCORDA, 3GPP, IGS).

As the signals of Galileo and the global BDS‐3 navigation satellite system have been accessible, positioning users can use quad‐frequency even five‐frequency signals nowadays. With multifrequency signals, one can form some useful combinations to improve the positioning performance, e.g., the widely used extra‐wide‐lane (EWL)/wide‐lane (WL) in triple ...

Are PPP tests erratically behaved? Some panel evidence [PDF]
This paper examines whether, in addition to standard unit root and cointegration tests, panel approaches also produce test statistics behaving erratically when applied to PPP.

A Novel Robust High‐Precision Ionospheric Delay Modeling for PPP‐RTK Using Crowdsourced Data
Abstract The performance of PPP‐RTK is critically dependent on the quality of ionospheric corrections derived from a reference network. While the proliferation of mass‐market Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) devices offers a promising crowdsourcing opportunity to densify or replace this infrastructure, it introduces the formidable challenge of
