Risk Analysis Index Versus mFI‐5 for Predicting Outcomes After Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty
The Laryngoscope, EarlyView.This retrospective database study of 2129 adults undergoing uvulopalatopharyngoplasty compared the risk analysis index (RAI) with the modified 5‐item frailty index (mFI‐5) for predicting 30‐day postoperative outcomes and found that frailty was associated with worse morbidity, prolonged hospitalization, non‐home discharge, and mortality.
