Universal and Nondestructive Direct Photolithography of Colloidal Quantum Dots Using Photocrosslinkable Polymer Blends

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A universal and nondestructive direct photolithography method enables high‐resolution quantum dot (QD) patterning without ligand exchange. By blending QDs with a photocrosslinkable polymer, this approach preserves the optical properties and enhances the QD‐LED efficiency and lifetime.

The Effect of Amino Acids on the Formation of Amorphous Calcium Carbonate Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Biomineral formation often proceeds via the assembly of amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) nanoparticles with narrow size distributions. Using in situ SAXS coupled to a stopped‐flow device, we follow synthetic ACC formation with a 10 ms time resolution and show that amino acids narrow the size distribution at low supersaturation, highlighting their key ...

Advances in Stimuli‐Responsive Organic Materials and Polymers toward Intelligent CO2 Capture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of the relationship between different stimuli and stimuli‐responsive organic materials and polymers for carbon dioxide (CO2) capture. Main stimuli include redox, pH, magnetism, temperature, light, and pressure. Furthermore, multi‐responsive materials, due to their high adaptability and scalability in complex environments, are ...
