SOCIAL-PRAGMATIC COMMUNICATION IN WOMEN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER: A MULTIPLE CASE STUDY [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is identified much later and less often in females than in males. Some researchers suspect that a different set of characteristics of ASD in females may not be consistent with the more established and widely recognized ...

Tumor‐Intrinsic ARHGEF3 Enhances Antitumor Immunity by Promoting T‐Cell Infiltration and Limiting Myeloid Cell‐Mediated Immunosuppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ARHGEF3 is broadly downregulated across human cancers and correlates with patient prognosis. Tumor‐intrinsic ARHGEF3 activates the RHOA–ROCK–PTEN cascade to inhibit AKT signaling, thereby promoting chemokine‐driven T‐cell infiltration and relieving lipid‐mediated myeloid immunosuppression.

Pragmatic Causation

open access: yes, 2007
Abstract Russell (1913) famously attacked the law of causality, and indirectly the concept of causation itself, as an inessential anachronism encumbering our proper understanding of the world disclosed to us by science. Russell’s primary target is the ftmdamental law of causality, which is the principle that every actual event has an ...

Toward Predictive Theory in Single‐Atom Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A lifecycle‐oriented framework reframes modeling in single‐atom catalysis. By combining ensemble‐based descriptions with explicit validation against experimental observables, the approach defines the scope of theory across catalyst synthesis, activity, stability, and safety, clarifying where quantitative insight is possible and where interpretation ...
