Evolution of Electrothermal Heating and Dielectric Properties of Phenolic Resins During Pyrolysis

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 310, Issue 3, March 2025.
As cured phenolic resin is pyrolyzed, the material's heating response to applied radio frequency fields captures the transformation in structure and electrical properties. This heating response is non‐monotonic, first increasing as the material becomes conductive, then decreasing due to reflection.

Arrangement Free Wireless Power Transfer via Strongly Coupled Electrical Resonances

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 2, January 13, 2025.
This study proposes an electrically resonant wireless power transfer (ERWPT) system to overcome the limitations of magnetically resonant wireless power transfer (MRWPT). By utilizing an open bifilar coil, the ERWPT achieves 50 W power transfer with 46% PTE over a 2‐m distance.
