Evaluation of pre‐emergence herbicides for establishing coffee
International Journal of Pest Management, 1992Abstract Two field experiments were conducted to determine the safety of repeated applications of several pre‐emergence herbicides in coffee from the recently transplanted stage to 1 year old. Oryzalin and oxyfluorfen had at least a four‐fold selectivity margin to coffee at two locations; these herbicides had a greater safety margin than simazine ...

Weed control in sesame with pre-emergence herbicides
Indian Journal of Weed Science, 2018Pendimethalin, imazethapyr, metribuzin, oxyfluorfen, imezemox were evaluated as pre-emergence herbicides in sesame during summer season of 2013 and 2014 at ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur. All the herbicides reduced the weed population significantly as compared with weedy check but delayed the germination of sesame and caused sesame injury.

Response of adzuki bean to pre-emergence herbicides
Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 2006Limited herbicide options are available to adzuki bean growers in southwestern Ontario. Six field trials were conducted in Ontario during 2003 and 2004 to evaluate the tolerance of adzuki bean to dimethenamid (1250 and 2500 g a.i. ha-1), S-metolachlor (1600 and 3200 g a.i. ha-1), clomazone (1000 and 2000 g a.i. ha-1), and imazethapyr (75 and 150 g a.i.
