Magnetism in pre-MS intermediate-mass stars and the fossil field hypothesis [PDF]
Today, one of the greatest challenges concerning the Ap/Bp stars is to understand the origin of their slow rotation and their magnetic fields. The favoured hypothesis for the latter is the fossil field, which implies that the magnetic fields subsist ...

This study reports the upregulation of ELMO1 and GPR141 in human Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD) corneal endothelium and ultraviolet A‐induced FECD mice model. A genetic association of an intergenic single nucleotide polymorphism rs918980 present between both genes is observed with FECD in the Indian population.

Variations in the magnetic field strength of pre-main-sequence stars, solar-type main-sequence stars, and the Sun [PDF]
The surface magnetic fields of pre-main-sequence stars and zero-age main-sequence stars are notably strong, resulting in the generation of numerous spots and the emission of bright chromospheric lines. Rotational variations in magnetic field strength have been identified in T Tauri stars (TTSs) and young main-sequence stars using Zeeman--Doppler ...

Very Low Mass Stars: From Observations to Theory and back [PDF]
We briefly review the observational and theoretical investigations on Very Low Mass (VLM) stars. New evolutionary computations, extending toward the lower main sequence previous computations already given for globular cluster stars, are presented. Comparisons with updated observational data both for globular cluster stars and VLM stars with known ...

We generated and characterized clear cell renal cell carcinoma models using the patient‐derived RCC243 cell line—including cell culture, orthotopic, and metastatic tumors—via single‐cell RNA‐sequencing for comparisons between models and patient tumor datasets.

Lithium and chromospherically active single giants [PDF]
Nine chromospherically active single K giants were identified from surveys of chromospherically active stars. The stars have v sin i's ranging from 6 to 46 km/sec.
