Fracture evolution of a thick soft protection layer and the water inrush mechanism in overburden under longwall mining

Through shear–tensile creep tests and viscoelastic modeling, the fracture evolution of thick soft protective layers is clarified. Association of Chronic Diseases With Herpes Zoster in China: A Nationwide Population‐Based Survey

Chronic disease was associated with elevated herpes zoster risk (aOR = 1.84, 95% CI: 1.51–2.24). Among 14 chronic conditions, heart disease showed the strongest association (aOR = 2.91, 95% CI: 2.07–4.10), followed by diabetes (aOR = 2.04, 95% CI: 1.48–2.80) and hypertension (aOR = 1.89, 95% CI: 1.47–2.42).

HvarAKR1B1‐mediated tolerance in Hippodamia variegata: Deciphering the metabolic adaptation and fitness costs under prolonged starvation

Starvation stress significantly affected the growth and development of Hippodamia variegata. Combined transcriptome and metabolome analysis and RNA interference verification revealed that HvarAKR1B1 may be involved in the response of Hippodamia variegata to starvation stress.
