Co-precipitation of Cu and Zn in precipitation of struvite
Science of The Total Environment, 2021Struvite recovered from wastewater can be used as a slow-release fertilizer. Nevertheless, hazardous metals easily precipitated with struvite would increase the ecological risk for its agricultural use. In this study, the influence of individual and coexistence of Cu and Zn on the precipitation of struvite was investigated.

Abstract The objective of this work was to investigate the effect of precipitating environment on asphaltene precipitation such as, precipitant (n-alkanes: C5, C7, C9, C12, C14), asphaltene concentration, and temperature. A combination of gravimetric and spectroscopic techniques was used for the detection and quantification of asphaltene ...

From 1995 to 1998 the concentrations of 4-nitrophenol, 2-methyl-4-nitrophenol, 3-methyl-4-nitrophenol, dinitro-ortho-cresol (DNOC) and 2,4-di-nitrophenol were measured monthly by HPLC in precipitation at eight different locations in Bavaria (Germany).

The Chemistry of Precipitation in Relation to Precipitation Type
Science of The Total Environment, 1982Abstract Collections have been made of several types of wet deposition and of aerosols in various particle size ranges. The chemical composition of the precipitation changes significantly from one precipitation type to another. The forms of deposition, diffusionally-grown ice for example, compared with accretionally-grown ice, appear to be important ...

Precipitable water and precipitation in Athens
Archiv für Meteorologie, Geophysik und Bioklimatologie Serie B, 1977Total precipitable water, its variation with height, and its climatological relationship with precipitation are examined for the Athens area (Hellinikon Airport, 37°54'N, 23°44'E, 15 m a.s.l.) and for the period 1968–1974.

Particle precipitation efficiency in an electrostatic precipitator
Journal of Electrostatics, 2005Abstract In this paper, results of the measurements of the size distribution of seed particles after their precipitation in a wire-plate-type ESP with seven wire electrodes are presented. The cigarette smoke was used as a source of seed particles. The particles of sizes from 0.5 to 8 μm were counted in the 0.5 μm-wide ranges at the ESP outlet using a

Clouds are a visible manifestation of condensation or deposition in the atmosphere comprising suspended water droplets and ice crystals (Wang 2013). They exist in a wide variety of forms from sheets to rolls, to vertical towers in convective clouds, and they occur from the surface in the form of fog to the upper troposphere ~10–15 km.
