Revisiting filtering of two-line element sets for higher precision ephemerides

open access: yes
The availability of accurate and timely state predictions for objects in near-Earth orbits is becoming increasingly important due to the growing congestion in key orbital regimes. The Two-line Element Set (TLE) catalogue remains, to this day, one of the few publicly- available, comprehensive sources of near-Earth object ephemerides.

Unified Harmonic Framework Outperforms NASA Ephemerides in High-Precision 3iAtlas Telemetry Prediction

open access: yes
This paper presents a live, prospective trajectory prediction comparison between the Unified Harmonic Framework (UHF) and standard NASA ephemerides applied to 3i/Atlas — a high-interest interstellar comet exhibiting complex non-gravitational perturbations.
