The retrieval of atmosphereric water vapor based on Beidou Ultra-rapid precise ephemeris using different mapping functions

open access: goldIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
Abstract The atmospheric mapping function is an important model to convert the total tropospheric delay on the slant path of satellite signal into the zenith tropospheric delay. It is important to choose the appropriate mapping function to improve the accuracy of water vapor estimation. Beidou observation data in different seasons from 6

Precision Analysis of Solar Astrometric Positions from the JPL DE431 Ephemeris

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021
Abstract The DE (Development Ephemeris) series of planetary ephemeris released by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) have been widely used in deep-space navigation, interplanetary exploration, analysis and reduction of high-precision astronomical observations, and calibrations of gravitational theories etc.

Discovery of deep eclipses in the cataclysmic variable ZTF17aaaeefu (2MASS J00594349+6454419) [PDF]

open access: yesAstrophysics and Space Science (2021) 366:111, 2021
I performed photometric observations of the cataclysmic variable candidate ZTF17aaaeefu and discovered very deep eclipses. The observations were obtained over 8 nights covering 7 months. The eclipse profile is similar to the eclipse profiles observed in other cataclysmic variables.

Real-Time LEO Satellite Orbits Based on Batch Least-Squares Orbit Determination with Short-Term Orbit Prediction

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
The augmentation of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) by Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites is proposed as an effective method to improve the precision and shorten the convergence time of Precise Point Positioning (PPP).

Astrometry of mutual approximations between natural satellites. Application to the Galilean moons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Typically we can deliver astrometric positions of natural satellites with errors in the 50-150 mas range. Apparent distances from mutual phenomena, have much smaller errors, less than 10 mas. However, this method can only be applied during the equinox of

Rigorous Co-Registration of KOMPSAT-3 Multispectral and Panchromatic Images for Pan-Sharpening Image Fusion

open access: yesSensors, 2020
KOMPSAT-3, a Korean earth observing satellite, provides the panchromatic (PAN) band and four multispectral (MS) bands. They can be fused to obtain a pan-sharpened image of higher resolution in both the spectral and spatial domain, which is more ...
