Absolute Timing of the Crab Pulsar with RXTE
We have monitored the phase of the main X-ray pulse of the Crab pulsar with the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) for almost eight years, since the start of the mission in January 1996. The absolute time of RXTE's clock is sufficiently accurate to allow

Abstract Understanding and forecasting extreme radiation belt electron fluxes has been a major goal in space weather since their discovery in 1958. In this study, by combining electron flux data from multiple satellite missions in different orbits, including Van Allen Probes, Electron Losses and Fields Investigation, and Colorado Inner Radiation Belt ...

Direct detection of ultralight dark matter via astronomical ephemeris
A novel idea of the direct detection to search for a ultralight dark matter based on the interaction between the dark matter and a nucleon is proposed. Solar system bodies feel the dark matter wind and it acts as a resistant force opposing their motions.

Uncertainties in Historic Visual Double Star Measures—III Accurate Calibration Pairs
ABSTRACT Based on space‐based positions and proper motions, we present accurate rectilinear elements for 857 double star pairs over the celestial sphere. These elements allow for the computation of precision ephemeris Position Angles and Separations of these pairs.

Binary Central Stars of Planetary Nebulae Discovered Through Photometric Variability. III. The Central Star of Abell 65 [PDF]
A growing number of close binary stars are being discovered among central stars of planetary nebulae. Recent and ongoing surveys are finding new systems and contributing to our knowledge of the evolution of close binary systems.

Study comprises the first field study of the flight altitude of the common crane (Grus grus) during seasonal migrations across the Baltic Sea. Our investigations clearly indicate that despite weather‐induced variations in the flight altitude, the majority of cranes will cross the Baltic Sea at altitudes between 50 and 250 m.

Real‐time and dynamic time transfer method based on double‐differenced real‐time kinematic mode
In this study, a real‐time and dynamic time transfer method based on double‐differenced (DD) real‐time kinematic (RTK) mode is proposed. First, the method forms the DD observations of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to fix the DD ambiguity, and

The Correlation Function for Magnetic Field Fluctuations at Ion Dissipation Scales in the Solar Wind
Abstract This study investigates energy dissipation in small‐scale solar wind turbulence using a novel approach to autocorrelation function analysis leveraging high‐resolution data from the Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission (MMS). We analyze magnetic field fluctuations at ion dissipation scales, focusing on short 20‐s intervals to isolate dissipation ...
