Precise orbit determination for the maneuvering satellites

Routine and occasional/emergency orbital maneuvers are essential for many satellites to maintain their optimal trajectory and to achieve a wide range of operational objectives in a continuous way. However, incorrectly modelled highly dynamic changes of the orbit during maneuvers can significantly reduce the accuracy of precise orbit determination (POD)

Kinematic Precise Orbit Determination for Gravity Field Determination

2005
In this paper we first present approaches and results in precise orbit determination (POD) for satellitesin Low Earth Orbit (LEO) based on one or two frequency GPS measurements and, secondly, we focus on the relations between kinematic POD and gravity field determination.
