XPS and p‐ARXPS Analysis of Nanometric‐Thick Polyphosphazene Film on Undoped n‐InP 1015/cm3

open access: yesSurface and Interface Analysis, Volume 57, Issue 5, Page 327-333, May 2025.
ABSTRACT In this study, we investigate the formation and characterization of an ultrathin polyphosphazene (PPP) film on undoped n‐type indium phosphide semiconductor (InP) through electrochemical passivation in liquid ammonia (NH₃). The passivation process, driven by photogenerated holes, results in a protective PPP layer on the InP surface.

Carnitine supplementation improves insulin sensitivity and skeletal muscle acetylcarnitine formation in patients with type 2 diabetes

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 27, Issue 5, Page 2864-2877, May 2025.
Abstract Aim/Hypothesis Recently, we reported that increasing free carnitine availability resulted in elevated skeletal muscle acetylcarnitine concentrations and restored metabolic flexibility in individuals who have impaired glucose tolerance. Metabolic flexibility is defined as the capacity to switch from predominantly fat oxidation while fasted to ...

Strategies for Biomethane Purification: A Critical Review and New Approaches

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy, Volume 17, Issue 5, May 2025.
ABSTRACT The global shift towards clean energy emphasizes waste valorization as a key to achieving sustainable development goals. Biomethane production from organic waste not only converts waste to energy but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions. The growth trajectory of sustainability and environmental protection highlights the significance of energy

OsLC1, a transaldolase, regulates cell patterning and leaf morphology through modulation of secondary metabolism

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 23, Issue 5, Page 1751-1767, May 2025.
Summary Leaf morphogenesis is a crucial process in plants that governs essential physiological functions such as photosynthesis and transpiration. Despite significant advances in understanding leaf development, the mechanism of intricate cellular patterning remains elusive.

Detection of Landslide‐Generated Tsunami by Shipborne GNSS Precise Point Positioning

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 8, 28 April 2025.
Abstract Precise point positioning (PPP) of ships using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data reveals the precise movements of marine vessels. This method may quantify anomalies in sea surface height with implications for oceanographic monitoring, exploration, and tsunami warning. The GNSS PPP data from the R/V Sikuliaq, a research ship of the

The performance assessment of Precise Point Positioning (PPP) under various observation conditions

Measurement, 2021
Abstract Two different methods, absolute and relative positioning, are used in determining point positions with GNSS techniques. Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technique, which is one of the absolute positioning methods, is a powerful position determination method.
