Estudo de sorção de herbicidas pelos argilominerais vermiculita e montmorilonita
The clay minerals montmorillonite (MT) and vermiculite (VT), previously treated with Ca2+, K+ and Na+, were employed in a sorption study with herbicides. The herbicides 2,4-D, diuron, alachlor and metolachlor showed no interaction with MT and VT.

Evaluating Stabilizers Effects on Aroma Release Dynamics in Ice Cream: A PTR‐ToF‐MS Analysis
ABSTRACT Capturing the dynamic volatilome of frozen matrices during phase transitions remains an analytical challenge, typically requiring invasive sampling. This study employs proton transfer reaction time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (PTR‐ToF‐MS) as a rapid, noninvasive technique that directly samples headspace volatiles without preconcentration to ...

Life‐Cycle Environmental Impacts of Removing and Destroying PFAS From Wastewater Effluent
A life‐cycle assessment (LCA) framework was used to estimate environmental impacts from retrofitting existing water resource recovery facilities (WRRFs) to remove and destroy per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from wastewater effluent to support policy, permitting, and planning by regulatory agencies and utilities.

Preconcentration of Trace Elements by Sorption
In the determination of trace elements in complex matrices, enrichment and separation of the analytes is of special importance. A wide variety of methods have been proposed for preconcentration according to the nature of the samples, the types and concentrations of the analytes, and the methods to be used for measurement.
