Model of Eutrophication in Predator-Prey Systems [PDF]
In this paper a model of a simple food-prey-predator system existing in a flow is built. The model predicts the emergence of sharp predator-prey oscillations when the initial food concentration is very high or the flow rate is very slow.

On a Periodic Predator-Prey System with Holling III Functional Response and Stage Structure for Prey
We propose and study the permanence of the following periodic Holling III predator-prey system with stage structure for prey and both two predators which consume immature prey. Sufficient and necessary conditions which guarantee the predator and the prey

Acinetobacter regulates dinotefuran tolerance in Propylea japonica by mediating the expression of the horizontally transferred gene PjDUF1. Abstract Insect–microbial symbiont relationships are widespread in nature and often involve lateral gene transfer.

A Statistical Mechanics Model to Decode Tissue Crosstalk During Graft Formation
We introduce a statistical mechanics framework to decode the genomic crosstalk governing plant grafting. By integrating evolutionary game theory with transcriptomics, we reconstruct idopNetworks (informative, dynamic, omnidirectional, and personalized networks) that map scion–rootstock interactions.

Interaction strength and harvest intensity mediate predator–prey dynamics on coral reefs
Understanding predator–prey relationships is fundamental to our knowledge of the stability and resilience of ecological systems. These dynamics are shaped by both ecological factors, like interaction strength, and anthropogenic factors, like harvest ...

Dorsal Raphe VIP Neurons Are Critical for Survival‐Oriented Vigilance
DRNVIP neurons in mice and primates are strategically positioned to influence the central extended amygdala via feedback loops. They regulate the excitability of PKC‐δ neurons in the ovBNST and CeA through glutamate release. Their ablation heightens activity in these regions, disrupts active‐phase sleep architecture, enhances risk assessment behaviors ...
