An Integrated Fault Identification Approach for Rolling Bearings Based on Dual‐Tree Complex Wavelet Packet Transform and Generalized Composite Multiscale Amplitude‐Aware Permutation Entropy

open access: yesShock and Vibration, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
The health condition of rolling bearings, as a widely used part in rotating machineries, directly influences the working efficiency of the equipment. Consequently, timely detection and judgment of the current working status of the bearing is the key to improving productivity. This paper proposes an integrated fault identification technology for rolling

Joint L‐/C‐Band Code and Carrier Phase Linear Combinations for Galileo

open access: yesInternational Journal of Navigation and Observation, Volume 2008, Issue 1, 2008., 2008
Linear code combinations have been considered for suppressing the ionospheric error. In the L‐band, this leads to an increased noise floor. In a combined L‐ and C‐band (5010–5030 MHz) approach, the ionosphere can be eliminated and the noise floor reduced at the same time.

Analysing the Environmental and Social Impacts of a Novel User‐Based Transit Signal Priority Strategy in a Connected Vehicle Environment

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Transit signal priority (TSP) is a traffic control strategy aiming at prioritising public transit vehicles at signalised intersections. The emergence of connected vehicles (CVs) provides the opportunity to enhance TSP operation, mitigating challenges such as the negative impact on nontransit users and the management of conflicting priority requests ...
