The carbon cloth electrode with targeted pyridinic nitrogen doping, achieved via urea pyrolysis, effectively modulates the adsorption of Cr(II) species and enhances electron transfer, leading to significantly improved kinetics of the Cr(II)/Cr(III) reaction. The material demonstrates a high discharge capacity of 689.3 mAh and an energy efficiency of 72.

Vector Magnetic Fields and Current Helicities in Coronal Holes and Quiet Regions
In the solar photosphere, many properties of coronal holes (CHs) are not known, especially vector magnetic fields. Using observations from \emph{Hinode}, we investigate vector magnetic fields, current densities and current helicities in two CHs and ...

Separation and Enrichment of Catechol and Sugars from Bio-oil Aqueous Phase
Aiming at obtaining greater value from the complicated composition of the bio-oil aqueous phase, solvents of increasing polarity were employed to sequentially separate the bio-oil aqueous phase using column chromatography.

The existential crisis of bipolar II disorder
The issue of categorical vs. dimensional classification of bipolar disorder continues to generate controversy as it has for generations. Despite the evidence that no psychiatric disorder has discrete boundaries separating pathological and nonpathological

LL‐37 Driven Phase Transition and Stacking in Oligolamellar Gram‐Negative Bacterial Membrane Models
This work establishes oligolamellar bacterial membrane models to investigate how LL‐37 disrupts the complex dual‐bilayer architecture of Gram‐negative bacteria. Combining SAXS, cryo‐TEM, electrophoretic mobility measurements, and coarse‐grained simulations, it reveals cardiolipin‐driven phase transitions leading to bicelle‐like structures and membrane ...

Drift and observations in cosmic-ray modulation, 2 [PDF]
The significant effect of drift on the radial and latitudinal dependence of cosmic rays for consecutive solar minimum periods is illustrated. Compared with the integral radial gradient observed in 1976, the calculated value seems too small.
