Existence of Order-Preserving Functions for Nontotal Fuzzy Preference Relations under Decisiveness

open access: yesAxioms, 2017
Looking at decisiveness as crucial, we discuss the existence of an order-preserving function for the nontotal crisp preference relation naturally associated to a nontotal fuzzy preference relation.

Continuity properties of preference relations

open access: yesMathematical Logic Quarterly, 2008
AbstractVarious types of continuity for preference relations on a metric space are examined constructively. In particular, necessary and sufficient conditions are given for an order‐dense, strongly extensional preference relation on a complete metric space to be continuous.

Real‐World Pediatric Blinatumomab Administration: Access to Outpatient Care Delivery and Impact of a Hospital‐Dispensed Model

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Blinatumomab has been shown to be highly effective for patients with pediatric B‐ALL and has recently become standard of care therapy. Due to its past use in the clinical trial setting, there is limited information available about real‐world administration.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Relational Networks of Conditional Preferences [PDF]

open access: yesMachine Learning, 2012
Much like relational probabilistic models, the need for relational preference models naturally arises in real-world applications involving multiple, heterogeneous, and richly interconnected objects. On the one hand, relational preferences should be represented into statements which are natural for human users to express.

Preferences of Pediatric Patients and Their Caregivers for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Control Endpoints: A Mixed Methods Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Compatibility measurement-based group decision making with interval fuzzy preference relations

open access: yesJournal of Algorithms & Computational Technology, 2017
In this paper, we put forward a ratio-based compatibility degree between any two ]0,1[-valued interval numbers to measure how proximate they approach to each other.

A threshold for majority in the context of aggregating partial order relations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We consider a voting problem where voters have expressed their preferences on a single set of objects. These preferences take the shape of strict partial order relations.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

Pediatric Oncology Nursing Competencies in Latin America and the Caribbean: A Scoping Review to Inform Practice, Education, and Research

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Nurses are central to cancer care for children and adolescents, yet no comprehensive synthesis has defined essential core competencies for pediatric oncology nursing (PON) practice internationally, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
