Photoresponsive Metallo‐Supramolecular Systems Constructed From a Bidentate Ligand
Macromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.Metallosupramolecular polymer organogels based on dynamic metal–ligand (ML) cross‐links are rendered optically responsive by incorporating a photoacid generator. Exposing these systems to UV light releases an acid that protonates the ligands, causing network disassembly and thereby softening.
