Fabrication process of a high temperature polymer matrix engine duct [PDF]
The process that was used in the molding of an advanced composite outer by-pass duct planned for the F404 engine is discussed. This duct was developed as a potential replacement for the existing titanium duct in order to reduce both the weight and cost ...

Advanced Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) of SiSiC Ceramics [PDF]
Carbon sheets were used as a starting material for fabrication of SiSiC composites by advanced LOM. This approach consists of three steps: First a preform was fabricated form phenolic resin coated carbon paper with a LOM-device.

A sequence‐encoded supramolecular construct containing two accessible toeholds is developed herein for enabling multiple editing operations. By introducing specific input strands, it is possible to selectively erase or rewrite digital content through parallel or series toehold‐mediated strand displacement (PTMSD or STMSD).

Amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) microparticles with long‐term and thermal stability are prepared with or without collagen using a scalable one‐pot spray‐drying process. Under simulated physiological conditions, they crystallize into biomimetic bone mineral and, when combined with collagen, form extrudable, fibrillar bone‐like 3D constructs.
