On Groups Carrying Homogeneous Weakened Pregeometries
Siberian Advances in Mathematics, 2020Summary: We consider the question on the existence and properties of groups carrying homogeneous weakened pregeometries.

Zatrikean pregeometry: simple cosmological scenarios
Astrophysics and Space Science, 1993In this paper basic cosmological consequences of zatrikean pregeometry are studied. It is shown that many universal quantities can be calculated with simple applications of this theory. An equation directly linking the angular velocity of the universeω, the Hubble constantH and the mean densityρ of the universe is derived.

Toward an Axiomatic Pregeometry of Space-Time
International Journal of Theoretical Physics, 1998We present a deductive theory of space-timewhich is realistic, objective, and relational. It isrealistic because it assumes the existence of physicalthings endowed with concrete properties. It is objective because it can be formulated without anyreference to knowing subjects or sensorial fields. Finally, it is relational because it assumes thatspace ...

Abstract: "The aim of this paper is to make progress towards a geometric model theory for non first order theories. The main difficulty is to work in an environment where the compactness theorem fails. This paper continues the work started in [GrLe1]. The main result is an axiomatic approach to the Hrushovski-Zilber group configuration theorem."

Pregeometry Via Uniform Spaces
2002We begin by motivating a pregeometric approach to quantum gravity. A pregeometry is then introduced over denumberable sets which employs the discrete uniform space D X and a uniformity base U B induced by a topological group. The entourages of D X provide a non-metric notion of locality consistent with the open balls of a differentiable manifold ...

Dependence Logic in Pregeometries and $$-Stable Theories
2013We present a framework for studying the concept of independence in a general context covering database theory, algebra and model theory as special cases. We show that well-known axioms and rules of independence for making inferences concerning basic atomic independence statements are complete with respect to a variety of semantics.

Classical Relativistic Tests in Zatrikean Pregeometry
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2006Three well‐known problems (perihelion advance, photon deflection, radar echo delay) are studied in the framework of Zatrikean Pregeometry. The results differ less than 0.1% from those of General Relativity.

Automorphisms, flats and erections of pregeometries
2023We characterize pregeometries in terms of their flats - giving necessary and sufficient conditions for a collection of sets to be the flats of a pregeometry. We begin a systematic study of automorphisms of pregeometries; arguing geometrically, we obtain the (known) factorization of a pregeometry into component pregeometries, and express the ...

Causality as a Casualty of Pregeometry
2003In Wheeler’s pregeometry, one attempts to derive properties of the spacetime manifold, such as metric, continuity, dimensionality, topology, locality, symmetry, and causality from an otherwise structureless set [1]. Requardt & Roy refer to this methodologically reductionist attempt to model the properties of spacetime as “bottom up pregeometry” [2]. In
