Pregnancy and pregnancy outcome in Ankara (gecekondu) adolescents
Journal of Adolescent Health Care, 1981The aims of this study are to determine the social context of pregnant adolescents and to establish the consequences and outcomes of their pregnancies. The study compares 677 adolescent obstetric inpatients with a control group of 768 adult obstetric inpatients in the Ankara State Maternity Hospital.

These pregnancies were studied using data-processing. From the sociological angle there were two main groups. There were on-dwelling French women (29.3%) and African women (27.1%).

International journal of fertility and menopausal studies, 1996The International Federation of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology surveyed physicians from 11 European countries to ascertain the countries' adolescent pregnancy and abortion rates. Pregnancy rates tended to remain stable or decrease through the 1980s, with some notable exceptions.
