Anisotropic Masked Mycobacterium Potentiates Amplified Antitumor Trained Immunity via Spleen Targeting and Myelopoiesis Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An engineered Trojan Mycobacterium, developed via a “peeling‐off and masking‐up” strategy, functions as a powerful splenic myelopoiesis converter. This spleen‐targeted nanomedicine induces trained immunity to reprogram immunosuppressive myeloid reservoirs into antitumoral effectors.

Dynamics of Symmetry Breaking and Tachyonic Preheating [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We reconsider the old problem of the dynamics of spontaneous symmetry breaking using 3d lattice simulations, and develop a theory of tachyonic preheating, which occurs due to the spinodal instability of the scalar field.

UCST‐Responsive PMEGA: From Solution Behavior to Functional Hydrogel Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
PMEGA is used as a versatile water‐based UCST‐responsive platform for engineering microstructured hydrogel coatings via a thiol–ene CLAG approach. From PMEGAs of well‐defined UCST properties, the UV‐based CLAG method provides precise control over film thickness, ranging from nanometers to micrometers, and enables high‐resolution patterning.

Two‐Way Shape Memory Polymer Composite Gripper for Adaptive Robotic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A two‐way shape memory polymer (SMP) composite is developed with intrinsic shape‐changing capability driven solely by temperature, eliminating external actuation loads. Embedding the SMP in a low‐stiffness elastomeric matrix enabled reversible transformations during heating and cooling cycles.

Higher-Order Couplings in the Preheating Theory after Inflation

open access: yes, 2007
The energy scale during preheating after inflation can be very high, namely, about 1013GeV. In this thesis, we investigate the preheating theory by introducing higher- order coupling terms to extend the preheating theory after inflation to high energy ...
