Role of the Setae in an Ectoparasitic Seal Louse in Reducing Surface Drag: Numerical Modeling Approach

The seal louse Echinophthirius horridus has uniquely shaped setae that may reduce drag during its host's dives. Using numerical simulations, this study demonstrates that their natural inclination promotes vortex formation, minimizing friction and energy loss. Lifespan‐Regulated CAR‐Macrophages from Myeloid Progenitors for Enhanced Colorectal Cancer Therapy

Using a tamoxifen‐inducible Hoxb8 system, proliferative bone marrow progenitors can be generated, which are subsequently engineered with an anti‐CEA CAR construct containing a suicide gene (iCas9) and differentiated into CAR‐macrophages. Lithium Exposure Causes Trophoblast Cuproptosis by Upregulating FOXO1/STEAP4 Axis in Unexplained Miscarriage

Li exposure up‐regulates FOXO1 expression levels and thus promotes FOXO1‐mediated STEAP4 transcription, up‐regulating STEAP4 levels. Subsequently, STEAP4 up‐regulates intracellular Cu+ ion levels and causes cuproptosis, which further induces miscarriage.
