PROFIL KELAHIRAN BAYI PREMATUR DI RSUD DR. SOEBANDI JEMBER PERIODE 1 JANUARI 2003 – 31 DESEMBER 2005

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat, 2015
The premature delivery is one of the main risk factors of low birth weight and perinatal mortality. In Indonesia, the incidence of premature delivery is 10% whereas it is just 4% in the developed countries.

Implantable Self‐Powered Systems for Electrical Stimulation Medical Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this paper, the design strategy and clinical application of ISS are discussed in depth from four aspects: the design and optimization of the energy collection module, the selection and preparation of adaptive electrode materials, the innovation of system design strategy, and the biological effect of electrical stimulation of ISS.

Unraveling Neurodevelopment: Synergistic Effects of Intrinsic Genetic Programs and Extrinsic Environmental Cues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Overview of the regulation of intrinsic and extrinsic signals during neurodevelopment. Intrinsic genetic signals from NSCs, in conjunction with cues from microglia and blood vessels, collaboratively regulate the proliferation of NSCs, their fate determination, synaptogenesis, synaptic pruning, neuronal survival, and death, as well as communication ...

Ultrasound‐Responsive 4D Bioscaffold for Synergistic Sonopiezoelectric‐Gaseous Osteosarcoma Therapy and Enhanced Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An acoustic‐responsive therapeutic platform for synergistic sonopiezoelectric‐gaseous osteosarcoma therapy and bone regeneration is fabricated through the joint loading of few‐layer black phosphorus nanosheets and S‐Nitroso‐L‐glutathione onto the 3D‐printed bioactive glass scaffolds.

Self-supervised contrastive learning unveils cortical folding pattern linked to prematurity [PDF]

open access: yesMIDL 2024, Jul 2024, Paris, France
Brain folding patterns have been reported to carry clinically relevant information. The brain folds mainly during the last trimester of pregnancy, and the process might be durably disturbed by preterm birth. Yet little is known about preterm-specific patterns. In this work, we train a self-supervised model (SimCLR) on the UKBioBank cohort (21070 adults)

The Association Between Advanced Maternal Age and Short Interpregnancy Intervals on Preterm Labor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Background: Preterm birth is the leading cause of neonatal and infant mortality and has become a major health concern due to the increasing rates of infant deaths in the United States (WHO, 2017). Studying maternal risk factors for preterm labor provides

LRRC4 Deficiency Drives Premature Ovarian Insufficiency by Disrupting Metabolic Homeostasis in Granulosa Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LRRC4 deficiency disrupts the metabolic homeostasis of mitochondrial aerobic respiration and glycolysis during GC differentiation by inhibiting the ubiquitination‐mediated degradation of YAP, which ultimately leads to POI. These findings reveal the novel molecular etiology of POI and provide a promising target for prevention and treatment.

Neuro-imagerie néonatale : quelle valeur prédictive ? [PDF]

open access: yesPierre-Henri Jarreau, Olivier Baud, Val\'erie Biran, Delphine Mitanchez, Jean-Charles Picaud, Laurent Storme, Charlotte Tscherning. R{\'e}animation et soins intensifs en n{\'e}onatologie. 2{\`e}me {\'e}dition., Elsevier Monographies, 2024, 9782294770197
Premature birth and various pre- and peri-natal stresses can lead to a variety of brain lesions and have clearly been identified as major risk factors for neurodevelopmental disorders, with variable but multiple consequences that can significantly alter the functional outcome of children in the short, medium and long term.
