Electrically Induced Phase Transition and Synaptic Functionality in MoTe2/Graphene Memristors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An electrically induced reversible 2H ↔ 1T′ phase transition is demonstrated in a vertical Au/Ti/MoTe2/graphene memristor with a laterally contacted graphene electrode. Resistive switching proceeds through a compositionally invariant amorphous/2H ↔ amorphous/1T′ transformation, in which a self‐formed amorphous MoTe2 interfacial region is proposed to ...

Nitride MXenes Beyond Carbides: Bridging the Gap Between Computational Prediction and Experimental Realization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nitride MXenes remain constrained by a persistent gap between computational prediction and experimental realization. This Review identifies the thermodynamic, kinetic, and chemical barriers limiting their synthesis, critically evaluates emerging fabrication routes, and proposes a multidimensional computational‐experimental framework to accelerate the ...

A descriptive study of the knowledge of mothers who deliver premature babies regarding the cause of premature delivery

open access: yes, 2014
Premature delivery is the major contributing factor to perinatal mortality and morbidity (Prazuck and Tall, 1993). A descriptive survey study of the knowledge of mothers who deliver premature babies of gestational age ranging between 28 and 32 weeks ...

Self-Assembled Block Polymer Aggregates in Selective Solution: Controllable Morphology Transitions and their Applications in Drug Delivery

open access: yes, 2020
Introduction: Amphiphilic block copolymers are able to self-assemble into rich morphologies with high controllability for drug delivery. Great efforts have been made for decades to construct efficient drug delivery systems (DDSs) using nanostructured ...

Bioinspired Hydrogels with Broadly Programmable Mechanics for Soft‐Tissue Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sea cucumber‐inspired gelatin hydrogels are formed by directional freezing and mechanically programmed through subsequent ionic treatment. Multiscale characterization and modeling link ion‐regulated chain interactions to directional load transfer within the aligned hierarchical architecture.

Decoupling Li+ Transport in Self‐Healing Polymer Dual‐Salt Electrolytes for Room Temperature Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐healable polymer matrix, crosslinked via dynamic imine bonds, is synergistically coupled with a LiPF6–LiDFOB dual‐salt system to decouple Li+ from the polymer matrix, enabling fast Li+ transport. This strategy offers an effective pathway toward high‐performance, next‐generation gel‐polymer‐based Li‐metal batteries.

High‐Performance, Air‐Stable and Eco‐Friendly Terpene‐Processed Organic Solar Cells via Solvent‐Composition‐Controlled Film Formation Kinetics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solvent‐composition‐controlled film formation enables high‐performance (efficiency = 18.66%) and air‐stable terpene‐processed organic solar cells. An optimized eucalyptol/tetralin ratio of 50:50 (v/v) balances molecular solvation and aggregation kinetics, producing favorable nanoscale phase separation and vertical composition gradients.
