This review explores nanoparticle (NP)‐based biosensors and nanovaccine platforms for arboviral infections, highlighting their design, performance, and translational potential. By comparing case studies across viruses, it identifies gold‐standard nanomaterials such as gold NPs (AuNPs), zinc oxide NPs (ZnONPs), molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanocomposites,

More than meets the eye: The hidden burden of temporary feeding tubes on children and their families
Abstract Background Although pediatric temporary (e.g., nasogastric) feeding tubes are widely used for short‐term nutrition support, family impacts remain poorly defined. Research from long‐term (e.g., gastrostomy) feeding tubes does not generalize because management and burdens differ. This study aimed to explore the financial, time and family burdens

PHAGOCYTOSIS IN PREMATURE INFANTS
Pediatrics, 1957The paucity of data regarding phagocytosis in the newborn is reviewed. A method of evaluating phagocytosis in the human is presented, in which the proportion of "effective phagocytes" (cells containing 10 or more carbon particles) is scored, rather than the total number of cells engulfing particles.

Hemostasis in the Premature Infant
Clinics in Perinatology, 1977Understanding the unique problems of bleeding in the tiny baby depends on a working knowledge of various hemostatic mechanisms. Clinical syndromes often associated with bleeding and particularly affecting premature infants are discussed. A rational approach to the evaluation of a bleeding infant and specific therapeutic modalities are outlined.
