Progestagens Monitoring in 147 Mares in Order to Induce Foaling With Oxytocin

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 1, January 2026.
Parturition was induced when the progestagens concentration fell of about 50% within 24 to 48 h. Induction was performed at 9 p.m. in 93 mares that followed the rule of the drop of progestagens, by a single IM oxytocin injection from 10 to 50 UI according to the weight of the mare (120 to 900 kg).

Antenatal Corticosteroid Administration and Childhood Respiratory Morbidity: A Regression Discontinuity Study

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Volume 133, Issue 2, Page 263-271, January 2026.

Economic Impact of Severe Early‐Onset Foetal Growth Restriction: A Multicentre Prospective Cohort Study

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Volume 133, Issue 1, Page 61-70, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective Foetal growth restriction (FGR) affects 10% of pregnancies, contributing to 30% of stillbirths. Current management of early‐onset FGR (< 32 + 0 weeks' gestation) delivers the foetus before stillbirth or irreversible organ damage. The resulting preterm births create additional risks independent of FGR.

Multiple Chronic Conditions Before Pregnancy and Risk of Adverse Maternal Health Outcomes: Population‐Based Cohort Study

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Volume 133, Issue 1, Page 142-153, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To assess the risks of perinatal emergency department (ED) use, hospitalisation and severe maternal morbidity or mortality (SMM‐M) associated with preconception MCC, according to the number of chronic conditions, complex MCC and co‐occurring cardiometabolic conditions. Design Population‐based cohort study.
