Personalized multimodal physiological modeling of menstrual cycle dynamics using endocrine, metabolic and wearable signals

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Menstrual cycle tracking remains challenged by the limited physiological scope and inconsistent generalizability of existing wearable‐based approaches, which often rely on individual sensing modalities that incompletely capture the complexity of menstrual physiology.

Effectiveness of indometacin to prevent ovulation in modified natural-cycle IVF:A randomized controlled trial

open access: yes, 2013
Modified natural-cycle IVF has a lower pregnancy rate per started cycle as compared with IVF with ovarian stimulation due to, for example, premature ovulation. Indometacin administered before ovulation prevents follicle rupture.

Low‐Dose Aspirin in the Prevention of Recurrent Spontaneous Preterm Birth Stratified by Placental Maternal Vascular Malperfusion: Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Trial

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of low‐dose aspirin in the prevention of recurrent preterm birth (PTB) in women with signs of maternal vascular malperfusion (MVM) in the placenta of the previous spontaneous PTB. Design Secondary analysis of the APRIL study.

Reproductive management in pigs: emphasis on the different roles of the boar and on optimal insemination management [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Boars have different roles in the reproductive management in pigs. Boar contact can stimulate follicle development and thereby induce oestrus, both in gilts and sows.

Does Molimina Indicate Ovulation? Prospective Data in a Hormonally Documented Single-Cycle in Spontaneously Menstruating Women

open access: yes, 2018
Approximately 33% of normal-length (21–35 days) cycles have subclinical ovulatory disturbances and lack sufficient progesterone, although their normal length ensures enough estrogen.

Comparison of two regimens of gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonists in clomiphene-gonadotropin induced controlled ovulation and intrauterine insemination cycles: Randomized controlled study

open access: yesJournal of Human Reproductive Sciences, 2018
Context: Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonists in fixed or flexible regimens are used for prevention of premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surge, however, data comparing these regimens in stimulated intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles are ...

Gold‐standard evidence and best practice guidance for menstrual cycle‐informed clinical care: An overview for clinicians

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Objectives To synthesize current evidence and provide clinically actionable recommendations for integrating menstrual cycle‐related processes—particularly hormone sensitivity, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME)—into psychological assessment, formulation and treatment.

Exosomes derived from hypoxic mesenchymal stem cell ameliorate premature ovarian insufficiency by reducing mitochondrial oxidative stress

open access: yesScientific Reports
Cyclophosphamide (CTX) exposure causes premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). The therapeutic potential of exosomes derived from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hucMSCs) is not fully understood, especially regarding whether hypoxic ...

Study on re-establishment of ovulation after termination of sex-steroidal treatment. Compared with re-appearance of ovulation after abortion and premature delivery.

open access: yesThe Keio Journal of Medicine, 1979
Analysis of basal body temperature patterns (BBT) after continuous treatment with sex-steroids reveals that an extremely high percentage of subjects experience a delayed re-establishment of ovulation in the post treat-ment cycles, whereas the delayed re-appearance of ovulation is also observed with a high percentage in the recovery process of ...
