Safety of Venom Immunotherapy in Pregnancy: A Multicentre Study
Venom immunotherapy (VIT) during pregnancy, when maintenance dose is well tolerated, can be continued. No increased risk of adverse effects to VIT or safety concerns for the pregnancy or the newborns were observed. No decreased efficacy of VIT, in case of re‐stings, was reported.

Preterm birth is associated with substantial neonatal morbidity and mortality. We evaluated whether universal cervical length screening with ultrasound, followed by progesterone therapy for women with a short cervix, has the potential to reduce the incidence of preterm birth.

Abstract Background and Purpose Ventricular fibrillation (VF) in coronary heart disease accounts for up to 70% of sudden cardiac death. We examined whether diltiazem N‐oxide (DNO) has ischaemia‐selective antiarrhythmic activity. Experimental Approach Randomised and blinded experiments were performed in rat isolated hearts and in anaesthetised rats to ...

Abstract Catecholamines are classically viewed as neuronal transmitters and adrenal hormones; however, accumulating evidence demonstrates that sources other than nerve fibres and adrenal medulla play a fundamental role in local organ regulation. Physiological paradoxes, such as preserved organ function after denervation or transplantation, challenge a ...

Abstract Opioids are prescribed widely for chronic pain despite well‐recognised risks and variable long‐term benefit, reflecting the lack of effective alternatives for many patients. Combination therapies offer a promising strategy to enhance efficacy whilst reducing side effects.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have transformed cancer therapy, but their efficacy continues to be limited by immune‐related adverse events. Among these, ICI‐induced cardiac arrhythmias are increasingly recognised as a major adverse reaction, encompassing a broad spectrum of clinical phenotypes, including conduction blocks, atrial fibrillation and
